The Great White Shark 3D production team returned to Guadalupe recently with the underwater rig equipped with 5k Epic cameras, in order to capture footage of sharks in the crystal clear waters that surround the volcanic island.  D.J. Roller captured stunning underwater 3D footage of freedivers William Winram and Fred Boyle as they tagged large female Great Whites, whilst veteran large format cinematographer James Neihouse captured the volcanic isle from above the water in glorious 70mm film.

William and Fred have been tagging large female sharks in deeper water, beyond the reach of surface tagging. You can check out Fred’s blog here and William’s here.
